The Credibility Kit

Professional photographs of your real business, shot on site and published where customers decide.

Photographs are the first thing a customer judges you on

Before anyone reads your service list they have already looked at your photos, and they make a decision there. A profile with three dark phone snaps says one thing about a business. A profile with clear, well-lit pictures of a real workshop, a real team and real finished work says something else entirely.

This is also the part almost nobody gets to. Owners know their photos are weak. Booking a photographer feels like an expense that belongs to a bigger business, so it stays on the list and never gets done — while the photos keep quietly costing them work.

What we photograph

Not thirty versions of your shopfront — the specific things a customer is silently checking before they call you.

A plumber standing with his toolbox beside a branded bakkie
Your branded vehicle, and the person who arrives in it
A dentist in gloves preparing instruments on a tray in a clean treatment room
The room a customer is treated in, and how clean it is
A seamstress cutting patterned fabric at her workbench, surrounded by stock
Equipment and stock, which say the business is established
A barista pouring latte art behind an espresso machine in a coffee shop
The space a customer walks into
A technician in high-visibility workwear carrying a solar panel on site
A job in progress, the closest thing to proof you can show

Why it is published through a Local Guide account

Photographs uploaded to Google Maps by a long-standing, high-level Local Guide account carry more weight than an anonymous upload, and tend to appear faster and more reliably. Praize's account is Level 8 and sits in the top 1% of contributors in South Africa — built over years, and not something a business can buy.

It is a genuine advantage and worth being precise about what it is: it is not a shortcut around Google's rules, and it does not guarantee any particular ranking. It means your photographs are published by an account Google has good reason to trust.

What a good set of business photographs actually contains

Not thirty variations of your shopfront. The set that works covers the things a customer is silently checking: what the place looks like when they arrive, whether it is clean and organised, who they will be dealing with, what your finished work looks like, and what equipment you actually own.

For a trade business the finished-work photographs usually do the most. They are the closest thing to proof you can put in front of someone who has never met you.

Where the name comes from

The whole plan exists to make a small business look as credible online as it already is in person. The photographs are the part of that which cannot be written — nobody talks their way into looking established. This is the kit that closes that gap, which is where the name comes from.

Common questions

How much does it cost?
R3 000 once-off. It is an add-on for businesses already on a Praize plan rather than a standalone service, because the photographs are only worth what the profile and website do with them.
Where do you shoot?
On site, at your business, in Gauteng. If you are elsewhere in South Africa, talk to us about what is possible — everything else in the plan is nationwide.
How long does the shoot take?
Long enough to get the set right without shutting your business for the day. We work around your trading hours, including early or late if that is what keeps customers unaffected.
What do I need to do beforehand?
Tidy the areas we will be photographing, have your team available for headshots if you want them, and think about which finished jobs you are proudest of. We will send a short list before the day.
Do I have to be a subscriber?
Yes. The Credibility Kit is an add-on to an active plan. The photographs work because something is publishing and maintaining them across your profile and website — on their own, they are just files on a hard drive.
